DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin urges residents to commute to work on two wheels during Bike to Work Week.
To honor Bike to Work Week, Chairman Cronin plans to ride his bike to work on Tuesday, June 9, from his home in Elmhurst to the County Government Complex in Wheaton. We anticipate that he will leave from the intersection of the Illinois Prairie Path Main Stem and Spring Road (in Elmhurst) at 7:30 a.m.
If you wish to ride to work with Chairman Cronin on June 9, please contact TrailPathCoordinator@dupageco.org to register. As the date approaches, riders will receive confirmation information about the event’s starting time.
“Bicycling is a healthy and environmentally great way to commute to work,” said Cronin. “DuPage County is fortunate to have an extensive trail system that links 17 communities. I invite residents to explore our trail system for safe commuting and recreational use,” he said.
