Please join our friends at the Keith A Olson Prairie for the Sept work day. The Prairie is immediately north of the Path and is an amazing asset for all.

Welcome to late summer, early autumn when yellow flowers are everywhere and if you look close enough, you might just see some understated blue blooms closer to the ground on Keith’s Prairie. My favorite time on the Prairie!
Our next volunteer day at the recently dedicated Keith A. Olson Prairie this Saturday, September 21 from 9:00 until noon. Forecast calls for a partly cloudy day with temps peaking at 87 degrees, with a 14% chance of rain. Sounds a bit warm, but another near perfect summer day to get out on Keith’s Prairie for our ninth volunteer day of 2024.
This month, we will again be meeting at our regular spot at Berkley Ave and the Illinois Prairie Path. The fine people at Grace Bible Church right around the corner are allowing us to use their restrooms once again.
If you have your own gloves, loppers or hand saws (no power tools!) please bring them along, if not we should have plenty. Bring water and a smile on your face. And please arrive just before 9:00 for the orientation meeting. Arriving early is especially important for first timers so you hear the complete instructions and learn about safety issues.
For more information, visit the Keith A Olson Prairie website.
Although this is not an IPPc event, send an email to info@ipp.org if you have any unanswered questions.
