Now is the month of Maying, all you dedicated volunteers of the KEITH A. OLSON PRAIRIE!

Our next volunteer day at (the Elmhurst Great Western Prairie) this Saturday, May 18 from 9:00 until noon. Yes, that is tomorrow and I apologize for the late reminder Forecast calls for a partly sunny day with temps peaking at 86 degrees, with an 8% chance of rain. Sounds like another perfect spring day to get out into the Elmhurst Great Western Prairie for our fourth volunteer day of 2024.

This month, we will again be meeting at our regular spot at Berkley Ave and the Illinois Prairie Path. If you have your own gloves, loppers or hand saws (no power tools!) please bring them along, if not we should have plenty. And please arrive just before 9:00 for the orientation meeting. Arriving early is especially important for first timers so you hear the complete instructions and learn about safety issues.
